My name is Carolina and I am a formerly feral lady.  I arrived in the back yard one day with two very tiny kittens in tow. One was jet black and one was a calico. We were very hungry. The lady who lived at the house I carefully selected had some other cats living in condos in the yard. Sure enough...she put out food for us and so we stayed, although we were quite wild. The picture below shows me at that time when she could not get very close to me. I was still scared.

Well, as time went by we began to trust the lady more and more and my "children" started growing up. The lady was afraid some gentleman cat would come calling again so she trapped us and we were spayed. She named my black baby "Lady Midnight" and my calico kitten was called "Calli Victoria."

That seems like a long time ago now. I am quite gentle and love to be cuddled. I still share a condo with my daughters and "Auntie M.K." another tortie that Meowmie adopted. Now we live in Oklahoma, out in a rural area but we are near a highway so we do not go outside to roam.

I was "cyber-adopted" for a time by a nice lady in North Carolina until she could acquire some kitties of her very own. She took good care of me and loved me very much. She thought I was beautiful when most humans did not. I was a bit scruffy at first but I had been a feral and it is difficult to maintain one's lovely self when struggling to survive.
